I'm Lynn Harrington, Director of EMEA for Scribe Software. As many of you know, last year Scribe launched a Hosting Partner Program. We had a lot of interest and now have 16 Hosting Partners around the world! Last year there was a lot of activity around recruiting and enablement. This year we are starting to see more and more customers come online, and I wanted to share a few success stories. These are customers who are using one or more hosted Dynamics applications and hosted Scribe Insight as well.
Hortus Digital, a hosting provider and VAR located in Latvia, is the first to have a customer that is integrating Dynamics CRM and Dynamics NAV with both applications being hosted. Their customer is a large agricultural retailer, whose sales people are out meeting with customers in the "countryside" as they say. Accessibility to CRM and valuable "back office" data, while offline, was critical for adoption of the CRM system. By integrating their hosted Dynamics CRM and Dynamics NAV applications- and the ability to take Dynamics CRM offline- they can be effective at their jobs, no matter where the customer is located. Also, important was the ability for changed or new data entered by the salespeople while offline to synchronize with Dynamics NAV. This customer has quickly increased efficiency and reduced costs in their operations. Hortus Digital was able to leverage the Dynamics NAV to Dynamics CRM Integration Template for a quick deployment, but were also able to customize the integration to meet this customer's exact needs.
CRM Partners, a Netherlands-based Dynamics CRM VAR offers a hosted Dynamics CRM solution through a partnership with SaasPlaza. One of their first hosted customers is a Netherlands-based association with an existing hosted Membership management system. This small, but effective organization did not want to spend the time maintaining two systems. With the solution provided by CRM Partners, membership and prospect data is entered once, on the Membership site, by members themselves or a potential member. This data is then integrated into Dynamics CRM eliminating duplicate data entry and potential mistakes- once again, reducing work effort and costs. The Membership system being hosted separately adds a level of complexity, but is not an issue for Scribe Insight.
These two customers are achieving significant value from a well implemented CRM system, and have experienced the added benefits of a hosting deployment. No up-front investment in licenses and infrastructure and the ability to outsource all of the technical support operations. Even better news is that regardless of the deployment environment, Scribe Insight was able to provide the same core benefits as with an on-premise deployment: flexibility, scalability, adaptability and reliability.
