I am pleased to announce that the Scribe Adapter for Dynamics AX has been officially released. The adapter is available for download from the Scribe Software Download page, located at http://www.scribesoft.com/downloads.
As I had announced in my earlier blog post, "Scribe Adapter for Dynamics 1.0 RC1 is Available", we delivered a release candidate of the adapter earlier in the month. Based upon the feedback we have received, we have decided to anoint that release candidate as the official production release. If you had installed the release candidate for the AX adapter, there is no reason to upgrade to the 1.0 GA version – the bits and bytes are exactly the same.
We are scheduled to ship 1.0.1 of the AX adapter on December 21, 2009. Note that this is one week later than I had originally communicated. You can read more about the 1.0.1 release in OpenMind. Additionally, version 1.0 of the AX-CRM template is also scheduled to ship on December 21 as well. You can also read about that release in OpenMind.
Training for the Dynamics AX Adapter is scheduled to be available for online viewing on December 14th. The training will be delivered using our new vBooks format. Additionally, the Dynamics AX Knowledge Base is up and running and an excellent source of information and assistance.
