Scribe Adapter 4.0 for Microsoft Dynamics GP

 The Scribe development team has been hard at work putting together this release (scheduled for release mid-December 2009) and I wanted to take a minute to describe some of the major features of this new version of the Scribe Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics GP.

·     Scribe Publisher for Microsoft Dynamics GP

Many of our adapters offer a point-and-click interface for users to subscribe to data changes in their respective applications.  Version 4.0 of the Scribe Adapter for Microsoft Dynamics GP now allows you to define scenarios where you want to be notified of data changing, such as Microsoft Dynamics GP customers being added; or invoices being released.  Using the Scribe Microsoft Dynamics GP adapter, you can quickly and easily disperse these changes throughout your organization.

·     Fixed Asset’s Asset Book Integration

In our conversations with many of you, you expressed how you would like to make use of this new integration point introduced in eConnect v10.0.  With version 4.0, you will be able to integrate to and from this Microsoft Dynamics GP entity in any of your integrations and migrations.

·     First-Class Microsoft Dynamics GP Entities for Custom Queries

This release includes a new database view which can be used to query for data out of Microsoft Dynamics GP by using the field names as they are shown in the user interface.  You will no longer need to know the database column names to get data out of Microsoft Dynamics GP for the most common integration points
