New Training resource for customers and partners - Scribe vBooks
In a continued effort to bring customers and partners more value from Scribe services, we have updated our training content and are deploying it on a new platform called vBooks.
With this innovative and powerful way of delivering training and product information, we can combine indexed content from a variety of digital formats - text, images, audio, and even full motion video. A vBook is "always on" offering you a searchable repository of information that is accessible anytime, anywhere, through an available high speed internet connection. One of the coolest features of a vBook is that the video is indexed so you can get to a specific subject easily using the table of contents, the index, or the search bar.
Over the next several months, we will be deploying all of our training courses as vBooks. So far we have completed that work on the Workbench and Server training.
All of the vBooks are organized inside your own Scribe vOffice, which is like a virtual book shelf. When we update vBooks with new product developments, we will e-mail you and you can log in and view the updated material. When you want to view one of your vBooks, you simply click on the book, and the vBook opens. Here's an example of the virtual book shelf in the Scribe vOffice:
Try the new Technical Resources vBook!
If you would like to see how a vBook works, you're welcome to create a login to the Scribe vOffice and use the new Technical Resources vBook. Use this link to register for the Technical Resources vBook and use the registration code "technical". You'll have immediate access to the Scribe Technical Resources, including;
- Introduction to Support
- Configuring Your Scribe Insight Server, and
- Optimizing Performance (also read Brendan's blog on this topic)
Note we recommend you use your e-mail address as your user name so it is easy to remember. Plus, in case you register for more vBooks from Scribe, using the same user name each time you register will put all your vBooks under one username and on the same virtual vOffice bookshelf.
To return to your vOffice at a later time and view your existing vBooks, login using this link http://community.scribesoft.com/myvbooks
