We just completed a survey in OpenMind which asked:
Regarding Windows 7…
• I plan to upgrade immediately. Scribe should support it ASAP
• Windows 7 is not a high priority for me at this time
Of 249 respondents, 41% indicated that they planned to update immediately.
This result was somewhat surprising to me. Frankly, I had not imagined that so many business users would jump to a new version of an operating system so quickly. All the same, I was happy to have my assumptions invalidated – OpenMind is all about using feedback from our partners and customers to make better product decisions.
Based upon your collective feedback, we have decided to add support for Windows 7 to Steelhead release of Scribe Insight. Steelhead is schedule for release in Q1 2010.
